The term "cloud" is used as a metaphor for the Internet, based on the cloud drawing used in the past to represent the telephone network,and later to depict the Internet in computer network diagrams as an abstraction of the underlying infrastructure it represents. We’ll be discussing the 3 major parts of the public cloud, Applications, Platforms and Infrastructure. Speaker BIO: Adnan is a multifunctional consulting and product management executive with a unique combination of global experience and broad background in consulting, product management, systems and processes in diverse vertical markets. Active in both on‐demand and global on‐premise web‐based enterprise software markets, he delivered significant business results in challenging start‐up and high growth enterprise environments.

Over the past 13 years, Adnan has provided CIO services to Fortune 500 customers including Microsoft, IBM, Hewlett‐Packard, General Electric, Compaq Computers, Whirlpool, Wal‐Mart, and T‐Mobile regarding enterprise software, IT architecture, integration, and infrastructure. He has particular expertise in SaaS, Cloud Computing, and global CRM / ERP applications.
