DFW Security Professionals is a community of like minded security professionals living or working in the Dallas / Fort Worth Area. Our members represent every role within the security industry from policy compliance, security penetration testing, security administration, as well as security monitoring and operations. Our mission is to help our members foster security skills and professional development through online and in person events. Each month we hold User Group Meetings and Lunches in the Dallas area. Dennis Distler will be delivering a presentation entitled "Performing Behavioral Analysis of Malware". During this presentation you will learn details about behavioral analysis of malware. You will see exactly what it is, and reasons why to perform it. You will also learn about building a malware research lab, the tools used in the analysis and what role each tool plays in the process. Blaise Brignac will be delivering a presentation entitled "Neutralizing Ettercap in Cisco Networks." Blaise will be discussing the 4 main methods of protocol abuse that the Ettercap program has built in to create a MitM attack, how the protocols work under normal & malicious operation, and the counter measures to stop them.
